2017 was an important election year in Europe. And although the dreaded move towards the extreme right has not materialized, nerves were extremely tense, in France among others, during the last weeks before the elections. During that period I went to Hénin-Beaumont, the home town of Front National party leader Marine Le Pen, and started looking for her voters.
