On the occasion of the cyclocross world championships in 2021, the culture department of the organizing city of Ostend asked me to put together a photo exhibition about cyclocross. Thanks to the cooperation of some of the best cycling photographers such as Russ Ellis, Diego Franssens, Kristof Ramon & Klaas Jan van der Weij, and the great support of Koers, Museum of Cycle Racing, it has become a beautiful ode to the sport. Many archive images were used in the exhibition, from the 1960s to the present day, but I also made a new series of portraits of Flemish and Dutch world champions. Finally, there was a nice audio guide with moving anecdotes and personal stories from Mister Cross himself, VRT commentator Michel Wuyts.
