It's a great cliché, but Flanders is synonymous with 'Koers' or the noble sport of cycling, which I lost my heart to. In the winter of 2015 I photographed the famous slopes or 'bergs' for the acclaimed cycling magazine Bahamontes. At night, when the world is quiet and the cobbles await the footsteps of the thousands of supporters and the carbon wheels of the spring classic riders.
